Kano United Bikers Association has pledged to collaborate with the Kano State Police Command to strengthen public safety and ensure the security of its members and the wider community.
According to a statement by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the commitment was made during a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, on Thursday.
The bikers’ delegation was led by their Chairman, Mohammed Rabiu.
In his remarks, Rabiu commended the Police Command for its consistent efforts in maintaining law and order across the state.
“We are here to appreciate the effort of the Command in maintaining public safety in the state and also express our commitment to working closely with the Police to sanitize our system and ensure the safety of our members and the general public,” he said.
Responding, CP Bakori thanked the association for its show of solidarity, stressing that community groups like the United Bikers play a critical role in complementing police efforts.
He assured the bikers that the Command would continue working tirelessly to protect lives and property.
“Your support and cooperation are vital to achieving sustainable peace and security in Kano,” the Commissioner stated.
The visit concluded with a joint commitment to sustained collaboration aimed at enhancing public confidence and ensuring a secure environment for residents of Kano State.
