Unifier Project Registers Solidarity with Governor Yusuf

The leadership and members of the Kano State Unifier Project today paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs to register their solidarity with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and reaffirm their commitment to supporting the ongoing development efforts of the administration.

Speaking during the visit, the Team Lead of the group and Director-General of the Unifier Project, Comrade Najeeb Nasir Ibrahim, expressed the organisation’s readiness to collaborate with government institutions in promoting and sustaining the administration’s policies and people-oriented programmes across Kano State.

He noted that the project remains committed to mobilising grassroots support in line with its mandate of fostering unity, peaceful coexistence, and inclusive development throughout the state.

Also speaking, the Kano State Coordinator of the Project, Mohamed B. Abubakar, stated that the Unifier Project has an extensive membership base spread across all the 44 Local Government Areas of the state.

He formally introduced the Local Government Areas Coordinators present at the meeting and highlighted the group’s readiness to partner with the Ministry in enhancing public awareness, civic responsibility, and citizens engagement in respect of the Kano State Government programs and activities.

In his response, the Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, expressed appreciation for the visit and commended the group for its commitment to unity and grassroots mobilisation.

He assured the delegation of the government’s readiness to strengthen collaboration and strategic partnership with credible organisations that share the vision of the present administration.

The Commissioner emphasised that effective information dissemination and public enlightenment are critical to the success of government policies and programs.

He urged the Unifier Project to continue promoting accurate information, countering misinformation, and encouraging constructive participation of citizens in governance.

He further reiterated that the administration of Abba Kabir Yusuf remains focused on delivering people-oriented projects in key sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and social development.

Comrade Waiya called on the members to sustain their unity-driven initiatives and serve as ambassadors of peace and progress in their respective local government areas, assuring them of the Ministry’s open-door policy and willingness to work with all groups committed to the development of Kano State.
