Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has announced her reconciliation with her former husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Oladunni, describing the reunion as a divine restoration after years of public conflict and separation.
In an emotional post shared on her Facebook page, the actress said peace had returned to their relationship after nearly a decade of dispute, bitterness and broken communication.
Dikeh attributed the reconciliation to divine intervention, humility and sustained prayers, noting that what human efforts could not repair was healed through faith and obedience to God.
“After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds and pain, God stepped in. What looked impossible and beyond repair has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos, and respect has returned,” she wrote.
She expressed gratitude to Churchill, the father of her child, for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s direction, adding that obedience to God brings restoration even after prolonged hardship.
Dikeh said the renewed relationship was built on humility, forgiveness and love for their child, stressing that the reconciliation was not achieved by strength or wisdom but by spiritual transformation.
She also encouraged people facing similar challenges not to lose hope, insisting that difficult situations can still be redeemed through patience, prayer and faith.
“To anyone who feels tired, wounded and misunderstood, your story is not over. God has not abandoned you,” she added.
The actress prayed that the restored relationship would remain anchored on grace, mercy and divine protection, describing it as a testimony of God’s unfailing love.
Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill were married in 2015, but their union collapsed less than two years later amid intense public controversy, legal battles and counter-allegations by both parties.
The former couple shares a son, King Andre Churchill, whose custody and welfare had remained a subject of prolonged dispute. Their reconciliation marks a significant turnaround in one of Nigeria’s most widely followed celebrity separations.
