Tinubu Reaffirms Commitment to Improved Learning Environment at Kazaure Polytechnic

President Bola Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu reinstated commitments to providing a conducive atmosphere for an effective teaching-learning environment in Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure, Jigawa State, for the betterment of Nigerian youth to acquire more skills, expertise, professionalism and practical knowledge.

He made this known during the commissioning of the 2024 TETfund high-impact intervention for the construction and furnishing of the Classrooms Complex at Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure.

The President who was represented by the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Institution, Dr Halimat Jummai Kperogi said the gesture was part of the Federal government drives to address the problems of inadequate classrooms spaces.

Dr Halimat Jummai Kperogi stated that the complex will provide more conducive environments for academic activities and enhance effective learning and improve overall educational experiences for Staff and Students of the institution.

She further pointed out that the gesture was part of the Federal government drives to empower engaged teeming youth of the nation for better productivity as future leaders of the nation.

Dr. Kperogi urged for judicious management of the complex, pointing out that more developmental breakthroughs under the stewardship of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu await Nigerians in different spheres of human endeavors.

Speaking during the Commissioning, Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Engineer Dr Bashir Ahmed Danzomo said the intervention has come at a right time considering the number of students in the Polytechnic and would be positively managed

Dr Danzomo, expressed delight with the intervention which he said has aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu renewed hope of bringing succor to Nigerians and called on Stakeholders to partner with the Polytechnic on its efforts of advancing the lives of Nigeria Youth.

He also assured the President of full maintenance and judicious management of the Complex towards improving teaching -learning atmosphere, adding that the Polytechnic will surely maintain its role as one of the most outstanding Institution in academic excellence especially in the North-West geopolitical region of the Nation.

Dr Danzomo further expressed gratitude to the incumbent Senator Babangida Hussaini (Walin Kazaure) representing Jigawa North-West Senatorial District for his gigantic intervention to the Polytechnic and the Council Chairman of Kazaure Local Government, Mansur Dabuwa, for sponsoring students of Kazaure extraction to undergo different courses of specializations in the Institution, and called on other Council Chairmen to emulate the gesture.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Governing Council Secretary and Registrar of the Polytechnic, Ibrahim Musa Muhammad, commended the foresight of both the President, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, and the Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr Halimat Jummai Kperogi, for their timely interventions in the Polytechnic, which he described as instrumental to the overall development of the Institution.

Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Muhammad appreciated the Tertiary Trust Funds for this laudable intervention and continued support to the Polytechnic and appealed for more developmental projects, particularly in the areas of Laboratories, Workshops, ICT facilities Students’ Hostels and Research infrastructure, which he said would strengthen academic excellence and technological advancement in the Polytechnic.

While the Chief Consultant of the Project, Quantity Surveyor Auwalu Sani Shehu of Kams and Partners Limited,
assured the President and the Institution of the quality of works put in place stating that state of arts facilities were fully provided to ensure robust teaching-learning environment and expressed gratitude to the President and the TETfund towards development of critical sectors in education like NELFUND for the betterment of Nigerians especially the future leaders.

When interviewed, Dean School of Administration and General Studies, Malam Hasiya Ibrahim said the intervention would surely address the lingering deficiencies of lecture spaces in the Polytechnic and commended the Federal government through the Chairman of the Governing Council for their timely interventions adding that “with the caliber of the leadership in the Institution we’re sure more developmental projects would be put in place for the Institution to maintain its leading role as citadel of learning and skills acquisition for self reliance.”

The occasion was attended by the Polytechnic Librarian Dr Bello Sani Manzon, Bursar of the Polytechnic, Sulaiman Haruna Wanka, Representative of the Emirate Council, Directors,Deans, Head of Departments,Head of Units and Students of the Polytechnic among others.
