Former Governor of the State, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has at the stakeholders meeting held in Sokoto warned Nigerians against voting APC in the 2027 general election, saying that voting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is like adding salt to injury.

“Nigerian citizens have moral justification not to vote APC again in all future elections as they failed Nigerians woefully in all ramifications.

The state Party Chairman, Hon Muhammadu Bello Goronyo while speaking shortly after the commencement of the stakeholders meeting held at the state PDP Secretariat Sokoto said PDP was robbed of the 2023 gubernatorial election in Sokoto state.

He further said the PDP stakeholders have once again donned their armour and returned to the trenches, gearing up for a battle of attrition unlike any other., the stage is set for a tumultuous showdown as the party leaders have since braced themselves for the impending electoral fray, showcasing a renewed spirit of engagement and competition in the democratic process
