The Kano State Ministry of Education has announced Sunday, 15th June 2025, as the official resumption date for all boarding pupils and students in public and private primary and post-primary schools across the state, following the Eid al-Kabeer holiday.
In a statement issued by the Director of Public Enlightenment, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, the Ministry stated that day students in both public and private schools are to resume on Monday, 16th June 2025.
Parents and guardians are urged to take note of the resumption dates to ensure full compliance. The Ministry warned that disciplinary measures would be taken against any student or pupil who fails to resume as directed.
The statement also quoted the Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, extending his best wishes to teachers, students, and pupils for a successful completion of the third term.
He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to routine monitoring to promote staff punctuality and academic effectiveness.
