POWA President Leads Health Walk, Barracks Sanitation in Kano

The President of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), Wife of the Inspector-General of Police, (Dr.) Mrs. Elizabeth Egbetokun led a Health Walk and Barracks Sanitation Exercise in Kano.

A statement by the Kano Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said the POWA President also organized a Health Talk on personal hygiene for members, of the No. 9 Police Mobile Force (PMF), at the Hotoro section of the state.

The event was at aimed promoting physical fitness and cleanliness and was conducted alongside the Kano State Chapter Chairperson of POWA, Fati Dogo, and other POWA members.

Also featured was a parade and cultural dance display by students of Police Children School, No. 9 PMF Hotoro, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria.

The Kano State Police Command appreciated the POWA President’s efforts in promoting the welfare and well-being of police families in Kano State.
