Operatives of the Delta State Command have arrested four suspected cultists and recovered several arms and ammunition in the State.
Bright Edafe, the Public Relations Officer of the Command disclosed this on Monday in a statement made available to newsmen.
Edafe said the suspects who confessed to be members of Aiye confraternity were arrested by the operatives of CP – Special Assignment Team ( CP – SAT ) led by ASP Julius Robinson.
He gave the names of the suspects as Koko Josh, 29, a native of the Otor-Iyede community in Isoko North Local Government Area of the State, Asomugha Clinton, 27, a native of Mbaisse community in Ezinetthe Local Government Area of Imo State.
Others are Anthony Kelvin, 26, a native of Orhoakpor Community in Ethiope East Local Government Area, Delta State and Gift Amotsuka, 25, a native of Jakpa Community in Warri North Local Government Area of the State
He said the suspects who carried out the activities of cultism around Mosogar and its environs were arrested based on credible intelligence.
Edafe said all the suspects resided at Adam Street Mosogar and were arrested on June 11, 2025.
He explained that during a search a black bag containing a fabricated Beretta Pistol loaded with two rounds of live ammunition, two locally made guns, eight rounds of live cartridges were recovered.
The Command’s image also added multiple phones, laptop and some fetish substances were recovered from the suspects.
