The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano Command, has finalized comprehensive security arrangements to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free Eid-el-Kabir celebration across the state.
Under the leadership of State Commandant Shafi’u Abdulmumini, the Command has approved the deployment of over 3,100 operatives.
These personnel, drawn from various departments, units, area commands, and divisional offices, will be strategically stationed at Eid praying grounds, event and recreational centres, markets, and other key public locations.
In its role as the lead agency in the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure, the NSCDC has prioritized the safety of public utilities and, most importantly, the protection of lives and property throughout the festive period.
Commandant Abdulmumini warned miscreants to steer clear of any criminal activities, noting that the Corps will not hesitate to take lawful action against offenders.
He urged all residents to cooperate with security personnel and give peace a chance to ensure a safe and joyous 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
