Commandant Agalama emphasized the importance of community participation and inter-agency collaboration in tackling insecurity, urging residents to provide security agencies with timely and credible information that could assist in preventing crime and maintaining peace.

He commended the Dala Local Government Council and the people of Yelwa for their support and cooperation, stressing that security is a collective responsibility that requires the commitment of government, security agencies, traditional institutions and the general public.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Dala Local Government Council, Honourable Suraj Imam, pledged the council’s continued support to the NSCDC and other security agencies operating within the area.

He vowed to assist security agencies in addressing security challenges and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents.

Hon. Suraj Imam described the commissioning of the NSCDC outpost as a welcome development that would further strengthen security operations and improve the confidence of residents in the area.
