NSCDC Commandant Reads Riot Act to Vandals, Saboteurs, Others in Katsina

The Katsina State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Aminu Datti Ahmed, has read riot act to vandals, economic saboteurs, and other criminal-minded persons to leave the State, as it is no longer a safe zone for them.

This follows the presentation of his letter of credence to the State Governor, Dikko Ummaru Radda, on Thursday at Muhammad Buhari House Katsina.

Earlier while receiving the Commandant, Governor Radda appreciated the Commandant General, CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for appointing Ahmad to the State.

He further assured of the government’s unwavering commitment to supporting NSCDC in its effort to tackle crime and criminality in the state.

Commandant Ahmed conveyed the message of CG Audi expressing his appreciation for the Governors’ continuous support and cooperation with NSCDC in the state.

He expressed much appreciation for the warm reception, assuring the Governor of NSCDC’s continued commitments and dedication to promoting safety and Security for the good people of Katsina State and protecting critical national assets and Infrastructures.

The State Commandant emphasized the commitment to safeguarding lives, and properties and executing other mandates of NSCDC in Katsina.

He also pledged to collaborate and engage with all relevant stakeholders to smoke out all criminal-minded persons sabotaging the Security of the State.

The state NSCDC Boss reviewed strategies to upscale surveillance operations, gather proactive intelligence, enhance conflicts and disaster mitigation, engage and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, and do due diligence in the enforcement of law and order among others.

He urged the public to partner with the Command by reporting all suspicious movement of persons or items to the nearest NSCDC office.
