Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu has urged Nigerians to sustain their trust in the new administration at all levels as President Bala Ahmed Tinubu is marching Nigeria to greatness.

The governor stated this in a message to the people of Kebbi State on the 63 Independence Anniversary celebration.

He advised Nigerians to be hopeful that the country would soon be changed for the better, assuring that “there is light at the end of the tunnel.”

Gov. Idris, however, counseled citizens to be patient, support and pray for the new administration to effectively and efficiently discharge its responsibility.

According to him, a journey of 63 years must have covered a very long distance, “yet, we have a very long way to go to be able to fix Nigeria.”

He advised Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of patriotism, and fear of God Almighty and stand firm in support of government policies and programmes.

On the level of commitment of his administration in the state, the governor said in just about 100 days in office, the people of Kebbi could attest to the fact that the new government under his watch was doing everything possible to transform the entire state.

He attributed the achievements recorded so far in a very limited period of time to support, cooperation, and understanding of the Kebbi people and urged them to sustain the tempo to enable him to accomplish his mission and vision of building a new enviable Kebbi.
