As Muslims globally celebrate the ushering of a New Islamic Year 1447AH, the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended deepest felicitations to Muslims around the globe, in Nigeria, and in Kano State.
This was stated in a congratulatory message from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, issued by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in Kano on Thursday.
Governor Yusuf described the New Islamic Year as a blessed occasion that offers a fresh opportunity to reflect on the past and renew commitment to living a life of righteousness.
” The New Islamic Calendar serves as a reminder of the importance of faith, Community and spiritual growth.
“Let strive to strengthen our relationship with Allah, cultivate compassion and kindness to one another and work towards building a more harmonious and prosperous society
” I urge Muslims in the State and beyond to use the occasion to rededicate themselves to the value of Islam, which emphasize justice, equality and mercy.
“Let us strive to be beacons of hope, peace, and stability towards the betterment of our society,” admonished the governor
