Nestle Takes Business To Sokoto

Nestle has said that the significance of canteens, local Bukkas, and Restaurants that serve food to people with limited income cannot be quantified, as food vendors and caterers who help meet the nutritional needs of hustle urban and rural communities by the day could not get the support needed to build a successful business enterprise.

It further said business of food goes beyond just cooking. Nutrition, pricing, styling, taste, and hygiene, it’s also essential to the growth of business and the safety of consumers.

According to Nestle food Manager, Mr. Jubril Oladipopu, Nestle in its effort to bridge the gap provided food and cooking-enhancing products available in Sokoto as part of its Business of Food edition to over 200 Caterers and food Vendors who participated at the lunching of its Business of food edition held at Giginya Coral Hotel in the state capital.

He said the edition is packaged to equip food vendors and caterers with the knowledge needed to optimize their food business while using MAGGI powders and other cooking seasonings effectively to enhance nourishment.

“Nestlé Professional Business, and its Out of Home business arm, took its Business of Food to Sokoto State, to deliver food education to over 200 food vendors and caterers.”

Participants at the one-day event received tips on how to cook tasty meals that will delight their customers as they shared knowledge and techniques for managing the complexities of food systems.

Aisha a participant in a cooking contest held at the event said, “Sokoto women are very much appreciative of the Nestle food business trip to the state, saying that, it’s amazingly wonderful, “we are excited to be here.

“We vine to term with the kind of Maggi seasoning to be used in our cooking to give our customers nutritional value for their money and enhanced our out-of-home business of mass cooking.”

The Manager of Nestlé Foods, Mr. Jubril Oladepupo reiterated that Nestle’s business was in Sokoto to connect with local meals and delicacies and to improve and provide solutions to restaurant owners on new methods of cooking with Nestle powdered seasonings.

“Ours in Nestlé is to provide solutions and make cooking faster and more nourishing with our all affordable products which is a whole mark of Nestle.”

The highlight of the event was the distribution of Nestle coolers, cutleries, and Maggi seasoning powders.
