The National Association of Unemployed, Artisans and Employed Persons with Disabilities (NAUAEPD) has commended the National Productivity Centre (NPC) for its commitment to creating employment opportunities and enhancing the representation of persons with disabilities in the civil service.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the National President of NAUAEPD, Comrade Damian Oklie.

According to the statement, the Association acknowledged the efforts of the Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, for creating an enabling environment and adopting policies that support self-reliance among its members. It noted in particular the DG’s recent donation of N250,000 to the Association, describing it as a gesture that reflects his dedication to empowering persons with disabilities.

Comrade Oklie further praised the commission for its initiatives aimed at supporting and assisting people with disabilities, assuring that the Association will continue to collaborate with the Centre and will not relent in its efforts to promote inclusion and empowerment for its members.
