The Managing Director of Kano State Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB), Haruna Danzago, Ahmadu Haruna Zago, has passed away.
He died in the wee hours of Thursday at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) after a brief illness.
Until his death, he was the Chairman of ASPIRA Nigeria.
Danzago played a notable role in Kano politics.
His burial rites will be performed later in the afternoon.
