The Kano State Consumer Protection Council (KSCPC) has launched dedicated telephone hotlines to enable consumers across the state to report complaints, seek information, and make inquiries relating to consumer rights and protection.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Council said the initiative is aimed at providing consumers with direct and easy access to its services, ensuring prompt response to issues affecting them in the marketplace.
According to the Council, members of the public who experience unfair treatment, purchase substandard products, encounter fraudulent services, or suffer any form of violation of their consumer rights are encouraged to contact the agency through the newly established channels.
The complaint hotlines are 07068004981, 07065494635, and 08034165718, while WhatsApp messages can be sent to 07062329145.
The Council reaffirmed its commitment to addressing consumer grievances and resolving disputes in line with established laws and regulations to safeguard the interests of consumers across Kano State.
KSCPC also reiterated its dedication to promoting fairness, accountability, and consumer welfare, while ensuring that the rights of consumers are protected at all times.
