To strengthen governance and enhance administrative efficiency, Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), has approved the redeployment of two commissioners within the State Executive Council.
The announcement was made in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Yakubu Bala Tafida, and released to journalists on Monday in Birnin Kebbi.
According to the SSG, the cabinet reshuffle aligns with the governor’s commitment to repositioning the civil service for improved service delivery across the state.
The affected commissioners are Hon. Samaila Yakubu Augie, redeployed to the Ministry of Health, Hon. Haliru Aliyu Wasagu, redeployed to the Ministry of Internal Security
“I am directed to convey the approval of the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, for the redeployment of the aforementioned Honourable Commissioners.
This directive is for strict compliance and takes immediate effect,” the statement read.
The SSG added that the governor appreciates the continued support and cooperation of members of the State Executive Council, noting that their contributions have been instrumental to the progress recorded by the administration.
He reaffirmed the governor’s commitment to sustaining peace, unity, and improved service delivery for the people of Kebbi State.
