Kebbi State Government has refuted and disowned one Mallam Salihu Isa Nataro, who claimed to be an APC chieftain from Kebbi State.

Nataro fraudulently claimed that he is a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former gubernatorial aspirant in Kebbi State, which is not true.

The said Nataro in an online publication called on the Vice President Kashim Shettima to voluntarily resign from the Tinubu administration.

Addressing journalists in Birnin Kebbi, the Governor’s spokesperson, Ahmed Idris, revealed that the claimant is neither a member of APC nor did he hold any position in the party.

“Our attention has been drawn to an online publication by one Mallam Salihu Isa Nataro, who claimed to be a prominent member of APC and a gubernatorial aspirant in the state, which is a blatant lie.

“These are the kind of political marchants, who fictitiously writes to amass wealth.

“The interview he granted does not in anyway represent the interest of the good people of Kebbi State nor did it represent the politicians of the state.

“Therefore, we consider that write as a trash and nothing but a trash credited to a nonentity.

“The good people of Kebbi State are solidly behind Tinubu/Shettima ticket for 2027 general elections.”
