He disclosed this in a letter addressed to the Governor and made available to Newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.

He said: “On behalf of the entire community of Persons with Disabilities in Kebbi State, I wish to express our deepest appreciation to His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) for the historic and inclusive decision to appoint 15 persons with disabilities as special assistants in his administration.

“Your Excellency, this remarkable act is more than an appointment; it is a declaration of your commitment to inclusivity, equity, and empowerment.

He observed that the decision remained a testimony to the governor’s visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to ensuring no one was left behind in the collective journey toward progress and prosperity.

According to him, this action inspires hope and ignites a renewed sense of purpose within the PWD community.

“As we celebrate this milestone, I assure Your Excellency that these special assistants will justify the confidence you have placed in them.

“They will work tirelessly to contribute to the success of your administration and the betterment of our society,” he said.
