Jigawa LGCs Replaces Motorized Water Stations with Solar Systems

The Council Chairman of Kirikasamma, Muhammad Maji Wakili Marma, and Malam Madori Local Government Area, Salisu Sani Garin-Gabas have pledged to improve the quality and ease of portable drinking water in their domains.

The Council Chairmen disclosed that shortly after the commencement and completion of some projects in their areas.

Garin-Gabas said the local Government had replaced 5 Motorized water pump stations with Solar systems at Kampala, Dunari, Shirinya, and the local government secretariat.

He further said the council has repaired over 100 hand pumps at 11 wards of Malam Madori to ease the difficulties of fetching water in remote areas.

Similarly, his counterpart of Kirikasamma, said arrangements have been made for the commencement and replacement of 10 motorized water stations to Solar systems at Kuka Dabo, Mela Kauri, Jibori, Jarmi, Matarar.Garigana.

Others are Ku’it, Maikanyu, Tuwankalta, Ilallah, and Iyo villages.

He further said, the local Government council has drilled new boreholes and installed hand pumps at 10 wards of Kirikasamma areas.

The Duo said the gesture will ease the difficulties and expenses of fueling Gas at water stations in remote areas.
