The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Oyo State has concluded the first phase of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise on Wednesday.

This pause allows for the Display of the Preliminary Register of Voters, scheduled for Monday, 15 December to Sunday, 21 December 2025.

In a statement, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Prof. Adeniran Rahmon Tella, announced that the display will hold daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. across all 33 INEC Local Government Area offices in the state.

Prof. Tella explained that the display period is intended to enable corrections, validation, and necessary adjustments, which will be concluded on Sunday, 21 December 2025.

He urged all registered voters to visit their respective INEC LGA offices to verify their details, report errors or omissions, and flag cases involving underaged or deceased persons.

Claims and objections should be submitted using the forms provided at the display centres.

The REC added that the second phase of the CVR exercise will resume on Monday, 5 January 2026, across all 33 LGA offices and the state headquarters.
