Ousted Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa has finally broken his silence following his removal.
Speaking on Saturday after he was impeached by lawmakers, Obasa stated that he was not disturbed or afraid.
According to him, it is important for lawmakers to “follow constitutional procedure” to remove him as speaker.
Obasa also denied allegations of corruption, calling the alleged financial misappropriations “impossible.”
“I am not disturbed, I am not afraid,” he said to a crowd of supporters at the Speaker’s Lodge, 47, GRA Ikeja Lagos.
