The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, has held a strategic meeting with all 24 All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the House of Representatives from Kano State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, focused on strengthening party unity, coordinating campaign activities and developing effective strategies to secure the APC’s victory in the forthcoming elections.
During the meeting, Bichi led discussions on key political and organisational issues, emphasising the need for proper coordination of campaign programmes, collaboration among candidates and a united approach to the party’s electoral preparations.
He noted that the meeting provided an opportunity for the candidates to review their preparations, align their strategies and reinforce their collective commitment to achieving the party’s objectives in Kano State and beyond.
The lawmaker expressed appreciation to all participants for their attendance and contributions, urging them to sustain the spirit of unity and cooperation as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Bichi reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to delivering meaningful development to the people, stressing that collective efforts, effective mobilisation and coordinated campaigns would be crucial to securing victory for the party at all levels in Kano State and across Nigeria.
