Governor Yusuf Mourns Ex-NFF Chairman, Ibrahim Galadima

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of former Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Galadima, who died yesterday after a prolonged illness.

In a condolence message issued on Sunday by the Governor’s spokesperson, Mustapha Muhammad, said Governor Yusuf described late Galadima as an accomplished sports administrator, a respected statesman, and a community leader who devoted his life to the advancement of football and public service in Nigeria.

He noted that during his tenure as NFF Chairman, Galadima made significant contributions to the growth and development of football in the country, earning widespread respect and admiration within and beyond the sporting community.

The Governor added that the late Galadima’s enduring legacy of integrity, dedication, and exemplary leadership will continue to inspire generations to come.

On behalf of the Government and people of Kano State, Governor Yusuf extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the entire Nigerian football fraternity over this great loss.

He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and admit him into Aljannatul Firdaus.
