Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Freedom Radio Group over the passing of one of its directors, Alhaji Shehu Dalhatu.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf described the loss as a monumental blow to the media industry, praising the deceased as a visionary leader and a cornerstone of the Freedom Radio family.
“His passing is a profound loss, not only to Freedom Radio but to the entire media landscape and our society as a whole,” the governor stated.
Governor Yusuf lauded the deceased’s unwavering dedication to journalism, highlighting his integrity, commitment, and pursuit of truth and progress.
He noted that Alhaji Shehu Dalhatu’s contributions to the media industry would remain an enduring legacy.
The governor prayed for Allah’s forgiveness and mercy upon the departed soul, asking the Almighty to grant him Jannatul Firdaus and provide comfort and strength to his family, colleagues, and all those impacted by his loss.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Freedom Radio Group and the Alkali Dalhatu family during this difficult time,” the statement concluded.
Alhaji Shehu Dalhatu’s passing has left a significant void in the media fraternity, and his memory will continue to inspire generations to come.
