Kebbi State Government has suspended the Commissioner for Health, Yunusa Musa Isma’il, with immediate effect.
This is contained in a letter on Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Yakubu Bala-Tafida, addressed to the commissioner.
The retter reads in parts:
“I have the instructions of the Executive Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, to ask you to give cogent reasons as to why disciplinary measures should not be metted on you for negligence of duty and disregard to your mandate as the Hon. Commissioner of Health.
“Consequently, I am to convey the directives for your suspension from duty until further notice,” the SSG said.
