Gezawa LG Flags Off 4.5km Gunduwawa–Tammawa Road Project

As part of its ongoing infrastructure development drive, Gezawa Local Government has officially commenced the construction of a 4.5-kilometer road linking Gunduwawa to Tammawa.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Chairman of Gezawa Local Government, Mukaddas Bala Jogana, emphasized that the project aligns with government efforts to enhance economic growth and improve the living standards of residents.

He described the Gunduwawa–Tammawa route as a crucial corridor that serves thousands of people engaged in daily economic and social activities, underscoring its importance to the local economy.

Mukaddas noted that the project received approval from the Kano State Government due to its relevance and expected impact.

He urged residents of both towns to support the contractors and ensure a peaceful environment for the timely and smooth completion of the work.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to people-oriented development, the Chairman promised more projects would be initiated in the coming months.

He also commended the Kano State Government under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for its consistent support and dedication to grassroots development.

In their goodwill messages, the Secretary of the Local Government, Garba Saleh; Executive Secretary of the Kano State Scholarship Board, Musa Gambo Danzaki; and local councilors praised the initiative, describing it as a significant step toward improving connectivity and driving development in the region.

Community members, including Malam Abdullahi Gunduwawa and Malam Sani Ya’u, expressed appreciation for the project and pledged to help monitor its progress to ensure it meets expected quality standards.
