Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is not new to a public altercation with friends, colleagues and acquaintances alike.
A viral video of the actress having a physical fight with a shoe businesswoman during a store opening event in Lagos surfaced on Monday.
In 2021, the 44-year-old actress married a movie marketer, Kazim Adeoti, controversially as Adeoti is married with four kids.
Funsho Adeoti, the first wife to Mercy Aigbe‘s husband, called out the actress severally, tagging her a husband snatcher.
Omolara Olukotun, who had a physical fight with the actress, accused Mercy Aigbe of disrespecting and daring Adeoti’s first wife with her numerous Instagram post, especially by calling herself “Aya D’owner” (Wife of the owner).
Mercy Aigbe, previously married to Lanre Gentry, had several online spats with her ex-husband after their divorce in 2019. The estranged couple could not help but avoid each other as they never stopped abusive slurs.
The mother of two was also involved in an Instagram fight with another actress, Iyabo Ojo, in 2021, which caused them to unfollow and block each other.
Lastly, in 2018, Toyin Aimakhu, now Toyin Abraham, accused Mercy Aigbe of being the reason her marriage to Adeniyi Johnson crashed. The duo went on an Instagram frenzy before finally burying the hatchet.
