By replying to CB’s “Weakest Link” with a diss track of his own that features the voice of late Migos member Takeoff, Quavo is bringing his dispute with Chris Brown to a whole new level.
Quavo’s opening line on the new song, “Over Hoes & Bitches,” is scorching: “Little bitch come battle with my drac’ / You been f***ed your bag up when you hit Ri’ in the face.” The song was released late on Monday.
Naturally, Quavo is alluding to Chris’s 2009 attack on Rihanna. He has already blasted Chris several times in their rap feud by bringing up his past domestic abuse.
It’s obvious that Quavo was prompted by CB’s previous video, “Weakest Link,” in which he stated that some people wished Quavo had died rather than Takeoff. Now, Quavo is reacting to the bar by threatening to pull an actual trigger.
Rapper Quavo says, “Don’t ever bring up Take p**** / This bullet got your name.”
At the chorus of the song, Takeoff enters and makes it quite evident what kind of person they believe CB to be. It’s unclear if Takeoff’s voice is artificial intelligence (AI) or if it was patched together from his actual recordings.
In response, Chris Brown expressed his displeasure with the song, claiming it sounds artificial intelligence (AI) generated.
The musical initiative is once again in CB’s hands; let’s see what more he has to say.
