The family of Ahmed Musa, the student murdered at Government Technical College, Malali, on February 16, 2025, has expressed deep outrage over the release of the prime suspect in the case by the Kaduna State Government.

In a statement, the family said they felt “neglected and betrayed” by the government’s decision, which they believe has hindered the pursuit of justice for their son.

They announced plans to file a suit at the Federal High Court, seeking both justice and compensation for what they described as “unfair treatment.”

According to the family, they will demand N560.3 million in compensation from the Kaduna State Government for the release of the suspects linked to Ahmed Musa’s killing.

They also called for “an expedited, transparent, and decisive legal process,” insisting they would resist any attempts at political interference.

As part of their push for accountability, the family said they will organize a mass protest across Kaduna State to draw public attention to what they described as the government’s negligence and the injustice suffered by their late son.

The statement, signed by Ahmed Musa’s father, Comrade Musa Mohammed (Moonlight), appealed to members of the public to support their fight for justice.

The family maintains that they will continue to pursue every available legal and civic avenue until justice for Ahmed Musa is achieved.
