The management of EGL Africa has revealed that the firm has extended its support to 50 northern women under the Matan Arewa Women’s Community for Entrepreneurship to participate in its upcoming business summit as part of the company’s dedication to fostering innovation, empowerment, and sustainable growth in Nigeria and across Africa.
The Chief Executive Officer and founder, Mr. Mujahid Musa, disclosed this at a media chat held at the company’s secretariat in Kano.
According to him, EGL is committed to empowering women by removing financial barriers that limit their potential.
He explained that the company would like to sponsor 50 aspiring and established women entrepreneurs from Northern Nigeria to participate in the important summit.
“The sponsorship would provide these women with invaluable opportunities to learn, network, and access resources essential for the growth and sustainability of their businesses.”
He added that EGL had recognized that Matan Arewa 2.0 offers a unique platform for skill-building, knowledge sharing, and forging connections that can accelerate the development of Northern Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“Through our sponsorship, we hope to support Matan Arewa’s mission to empower women and create pathways for success, which is closely aligned with our objectives at EGL Africa,” he said.
