DG NPC Appoints Kabiru Usman Na’ibawa as Technical Adviser

The Director General (DG) of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Hon. Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, has approved the appointment of Kabiru Usman Na’ibawa as his Technical Adviser.

The appointment, conveyed through an official letter personally signed by the DG, underscores the Centre’s confidence in Na’ibawa’s expertise and his capacity to strengthen its mandate of promoting productivity, efficiency and excellence across all sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Prior to his new role, Na’ibawa served as a Data Analyst at the Department of Computer Science and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of the Federal University Gusau.

He is a seasoned ICT professional and academic with vast experience in data analysis, computer science and technology-driven institutional development.

Na’ibawa holds a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from Kano State College of Education, a Diploma in Information Technology from Hands-On Institute of ICT, Kano, and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Computer Science from Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil.

He also earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Jodhpur National University, Rajasthan, India, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

His appointment is expected to boost the National Productivity Centre’s technical and research capacity, particularly in the areas of data-driven policy formulation, ICT integration and innovative productivity strategies.

Dr. Dan’agundi congratulated Na’ibawa on his new appointment and urged him to deploy his skills and experience toward advancing the Centre’s vision of a more productive Nigerian economy.
