The Commissioner of Police in Delta State, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, has presented a commendation certificate to Woman Corporal Nwokolo Mercy Uche for her exemplary and professional conduct in the discharge of her duties as a traffic officer in Warri.
CP Abaniwonda recounted that on April 16, 2025, during the birthday of the Police Officer, while on traffic duty at Warri main market at Robert junction, traders and well-wishers in the market surprised and celebrated her on her birthday.
The Commissioner of Police opined that her celebration by traders in the market was due to her dedication and love shown to the public while discharging her duties.
“The Force is proud of her and happy that she has brought commendation to the command and the Nigeria Police Force. To return the favor, she is being presented with the Commissioner of Police Commendation Letter,” he said.
