The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has published the list of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into four paramilitary agencies — the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj.-Gen. (Rtd.) A. M. Jibril, and released to journalists on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to the statement, applicants who participated in the recruitment exercise are advised to visit the Board’s official portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to check their names and details for the next phase of the process.
Jibril explained that shortlisted candidates must confirm their Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, dates, and times as displayed on the portal.
He also cautioned applicants against dealing with fraudsters or using fake websites impersonating the Board, emphasizing that the official portal remains the only authentic platform for recruitment updates.
“All applicants are strongly advised to note the Board’s official website to avoid falling victim to scams,” Jibril warned.
The Secretary reaffirmed CDCFIB’s commitment to a transparent and merit-driven recruitment process designed to strengthen Nigeria’s paramilitary institutions with competent and dedicated officers.
