Days after being released from prison, popular Nigerian transvestite Idris Okuneye, commonly known as Bobrisky, posted new photos to social media.
The transvestite, who had been detained for six months, was released from Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos on August 5.
The contentious star posted the images on social media with the message, “She’s back.”
On April 12, 2024, Bobrisky was found guilty of mutilating the naira and given a six-month prison sentence by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.
He was spotted having fun in a car with actresses Eniola Ajao and Moyo Lawal, along with a few other people, shortly after his release.
The contentious figure flaunted his physique, declaring, “I came back from jail with a nice body.”
In addition, he counseled Nigerians to follow local rules rather than throwing money at them. “Follow the law and the rules,” he urged. Avoid throwing money around; if you do, you’ll end up a landlord in Kirikiri. Not only can little offenses like naira mutilation result in incarceration, but so can big ones.
The crossdresser’s misery started when he was given the award of ‘Best Dressed Female’ at the premiere of Ajao’s movie titled ‘Ajakajiu (Beast of Both Worlds)’. He was also seen spraying naira at a meet-and-greet event to promote the movie.
