CP Bakori Commends Philanthropist for Renovating Gwale Police Division

The Kano State Police Command has commended Hajiya Hajara Abdullahi of Diso Quarters, Gwale Local Government Area, for her philanthropic contribution towards the total renovation and furnishing of the Gwale Police Division.

The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, presented a Letter of Appreciation to Hajiya Hajara on Monday at the Command Headquarters in Kano in recognition of the gesture.

According to a statement by the Command’s spokesperson, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, CP Bakori said the renovation and furnishing of the division represented a significant contribution to community security and would help improve the working environment for police officers and enhance service delivery to residents.

According to the statement, Hajiya Hajara has consistently supported various police divisions across Kano State with material and moral assistance aimed at strengthening policing operations and improving the welfare of personnel.

Presenting the letter, CP Bakori described Hajiya Hajara as “a rare gem and a true partner in policing,” commending her commitment to the safety and wellbeing of her community.

He said her contribution demonstrated an uncommon sense of civic responsibility, adding that initiatives of such a nature could have a direct impact on crime prevention, police morale, and public confidence in the security agencies.

The Commissioner prayed that Almighty Allah would replenish her wealth a million times over and reward her abundantly for investing in the peace and security of Kano State.

Also speaking at the presentation, the Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor on Community Policing, Hon. Hajiya Maimuna Umar Sheriff, commended Hajiya Hajara for what she described as an act worthy of emulation.

She said the gesture demonstrated how citizens could complement government efforts in strengthening security and creating safer communities.

Hajiya Maimuna reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to protecting the lives and property of residents across the state.

She noted that the state government had prioritized the provision of logistics, mobility support and welfare packages to security agencies operating in Kano to enhance their effectiveness.

The Special Adviser called on other individuals, corporate organizations and community leaders to emulate Hajiya Hajara by supporting security agencies within their communities.

According to her, sustainable security can only be achieved through effective collaboration among government, security agencies and citizens.

The Kano State Police Command expressed appreciation for Hajiya Hajara’s contribution and reiterated its commitment to working with critical stakeholders to sustain peace, law and order across the state.
