The Kano State Amirul Hajj and the Emir of Gaya, Dr Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, has urged the pilgrims to be more patient as they await the airliners to take them back home after the successful completion of Hajj exercises in 2026.
He emphasized that despite the Hajj rituals having concluded, patience would continue to be exhibited in the Holy Land, a statement by Mustapha Muhammad, the Head of the Media Team, Hajj Operations 2026, disclosed on Thursday.
The Amirul Hajj and his team briefed the gathering of pilgrims during his visit to Hotels housing Kano pilgrims, to hear whether they face any difficulties or challenges requiring attention.
This visitation comprises of two houses No 4 and 5, separately.
He called on the pilgrims to continue praying for Kano and Nigeria at large for Allah’s intervention to bring peace and development in the state and the country.
“We are here to interact with you, I know the last challenge was complain about the movement to Masjid which now was solved as vehicles are available at each accommodation,” Amirul Hajj has said.
Adding that, the Pilgrims Board has been in talks with the National Hajj Commission for airlift of the pilgrims back home, so that we will not experience delays, “ be patient more.”
The Deputy Amirul Hajj, Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Muhammad Muhammad Maharaz, said this visitation initiated by the Amirul Hajj 2026, is the first of its kind.
He called on the pilgrims to exercise more patience while waiting for the flights schedules back home.
He equally called for fervent prayers to our father land as general elections draw nearer.
On their parts, representatives of the Ulama Sheikh Abubakar Kandahar and Sheikh Tijjani Bala Kalarawi at houses no 4 and 5 respectively and seperately informed the pilgrims on the rewards for accepted Hajj exercises and importance of exercising patience in the Holy land.
