Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the mother of former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
He described the loss as painful, noting that the death of a mother is a profound loss that leaves a lasting void in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Friday.
Governor Yusuf extended his heartfelt condolences to Mallam El-Rufai, his family, and the people of Kaduna State over the sad incident.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and give the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
Governor Yusuf also urged the bereaved family to take solace in the exemplary life lived by the deceased and her contributions to society.
He emphasized the importance of patience and faith during moments of grief, urging the family to remain steadfast.
The Governor assured Mallam El-Rufai of his thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
He further called on friends, associates, and well-wishers to support the family with prayers and compassion.
