The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, and the people of Kano State, as well as the entire Muslim Ummah, on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message marking the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, the Commissioner congratulated Muslims for witnessing the end of Ramadan and prayed for the acceptance of their acts of worship.
He called on residents to continue upholding the values of compassion, tolerance, and generosity that define the season, emphasizing the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence.
Comrade Waiya also urged young people to celebrate responsibly and support one another in the interest of sustaining peace and promoting the continued progress of Kano State.
He further prayed for lasting peace, unity, and prosperity across the state and the nation at large.
