Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has made a powerful impact off the pitch after helping renovate a public school in Bonendale, Bonaberi, Cameroon.
Located in the Bonabéri district of Cameroon’s Littoral Region, the school holds deep personal significance for Mbappé, as it is situated within the community connected to his paternal lineage.
This initiative forms part of the continued efforts by the Real Madrid forward to support education in Cameroon.
In 2024, Mbappé had already financed the renovation and construction of several classrooms at the Djebalé Primary School, a project launched following his visit to the country in 2023.
The Bonendale Public School transformation features modernized facilities designed to inspire students, with Mbappé’s foundation covering the costs to provide a comfortable and inspiring learning environment.
Born in France to a Cameroonian father and an Algerian mother, Mbappé chose to represent France at the international level. Despite that decision, the global football star maintains strong ties with Cameroon and continues to support social projects in the country, particularly in the field of education.
