Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar A Namadi, has reiterated his administration’s commitments to provide social infrastructures for the betterment of Jigawa citizens.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Hajiya Zainab Shu’aibu Rabo, and made it available to news men.
According to the statement, Governor Namadi dropped the hint shortly after receiving the delegation team of Taura local government on Wednesday at government house Dutse.
“I want assure you that, provision of social infrastructures is part of our administration’s commitments and we will continue to do so for the betterment of all Jigawa citizens,” the he said.
He maintained that, his administration provided a lot of social infrastructures in different sectors including health, education, agriculture, empowerment, electrification in all sectors across 27 local government areas in the state.
The Governor then appreciated the visit and promised to do more for the betterment of Jigawa citizens adding that, ‘my people interest is my concern and priority.’
While delivering his speech earlier, the chairman of Taura local government who led the team said, the team is in government hause Dutse to thank governor Namadi for providing and reconnecting the local government with electricity after 16 years of darkness.
In his remarks professor lawalwTaura promised to reelect governor Namadi for second term as a reward for removing them from darkness and boost economic activities in the area.
Professor lawal said as oliver twist the community requested additional more projects including road constriction and other infrastructural projects in the area.
