According to the Police Command, enforcement teams are fully empowered to profile individuals who violate these regulations and to counter the spread of unverified or misleading information capable of causing public fear or confusion.
The statement further reminded motorcycle and commercial tricycle operators that the measures are aimed at strengthening public safety and maintaining security across the State.
Anyone found violating the ban or time restrictions will be arrested and prosecuted.
Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, PhD, urged residents to comply with the directives and cooperate with law enforcement agencies in the interest of peace and order.
