The Member representing Tarauni Constituency at the Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Kabiru Dahiru Sule (ADS), has flagged off the renovation of eight classrooms at Government Secondary School (GSS) Unguwa Uku.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Hon. Kabiru Dahiru Sule explained that the project aligns with his effort to emulate the visionary leadership of the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, particularly in enhancing the quality of education and ensuring a conducive learning environment for students.
According to the Information Officer of Tarauni LGA, Adamu Iliyasu Hotoro, the lawmaker reiterated his determination to keep investing in educational development, including school renovations and the provision of learning materials, to guarantee a safe, well-equipped, and academically supportive environment for students across the area.
Dahiru Sule also highlighted several ongoing and completed developmental projects within Tarauni LGA.
These include the proposed rehabilitation of the road from the By-Pass to Unguwa Uku Yan Awaki, the road project from Foundation to Tarauni Market, and completed works in Gyadi-Gyadi Arewa, Babbangiji, Kauyen Alu, and Tarauni Wards.
ADS assured constituents that these projects will soon be commissioned for public benefit.
The lawmaker further revealed that the renovation of classrooms at GSS Unguwa Uku will be completed within the next three weeks.

He also pledged to provide free school uniforms to 100 students and supply additional learning materials to support academic excellence at the school.
Hon. Dahiru Sule urged residents of Tarauni to continue offering their maximum cooperation to ensure the successful delivery of more developmental initiatives.
Representing the Chairman of Tarauni Local Government, Vice Chairman Khalid Ayuba Ahmed expressed appreciation for the lawmaker’s efforts, commending him for delivering impactful projects across all ten wards of the LGA, particularly the renovations at GSS Unguwa Uku. He assured continued Local Government support for sustaining such interventions.
In their separate remarks, the Chairman of NNPP Tarauni LG, Sulaiman Muhammad Inuwa (Hugan); Chairman of NNPP Elders Forum, Dr. Salahudeen Na’ibi Wali; LG NNPP Leader, Engineer Sulaiman Sani; Special Adviser to the Governor on KARMA, Abdullahi Sabo Abubakar; and Special Adviser to the LG Chairman on Special Projects, Sani Usman Sani (SA), applauded Hon. Kabiru Dahiru Sule for his dedication to sponsoring motions and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Tarauni residents.
The Principal of GSS Unguwa Uku, Muhammad Muhammad; Chairman of the Secondary Schools Teachers’ Association in Tarauni LG, Ibrahim Aminu; and the Village Head of Unguwa Uku, Mashe, also expressed gratitude and pledged continued support for the ongoing development of the community.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including the Special Adviser to the Governor on Islamiyya Schools, Alaramma Ishaq; representative of the Commissioner of Education, Engineer Badaruddeen Abdullahi; MD Farm Center Abdulaziz Usman Mai Tabarma; and numerous community members from Unguwa Uku.
