The Nigeria Police Force, Zone One Headquarters in Kano, has congratulated Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Nazir Bello Kankarofi on his promotion to the rank of Commissioner of Police.
In a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday by the ZPPRO, CSP Bashir Muhammad, the Zone described Kankarofi’s elevation as well deserved, noting that it reflects his dedication, professionalism, and outstanding service to the Nigeria Police Force.
Until his promotion, Kankarofi served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration at the Zone One Headquarters.
The statement noted that he has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities and a strong commitment to duty.
“His contributions to the zone have been invaluable, and his expertise has significantly enhanced our operations,” the statement read.
Zone One Headquarters expressed confidence that the newly promoted Commissioner will continue to distinguish himself in his new role and further contribute to the development and efficiency of the police force.
Details of his official decoration ceremony are expected to be announced in due course.
The Zone wished him continued success in his career and future endeavours.
