Gonçalo Ramos came off the bench to fire a last-minute winner as Paris Saint-Germain edged Barcelona 2-1 in a pulsating Champions League clash at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Barcelona struck first when Ferran Torres slid home Marcus Rashford’s low cross, with the England forward continuing his fine form of scoring or assisting in five of the club’s last six games.

But PSG, last season’s treble winners, hit back as Nuno Mendes burst down the flank to set up 19-year-old Senny Mayulu, who calmly slotted in his second Champions League goal.

Despite missing key players including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, and captain Marquinhos, while Joao Neves pulled out in the warm-up, Luis Enrique’s side grew stronger.

Their full-backs drove the comeback, with Achraf Hakimi providing the decisive cross for Ramos to finish clinically in stoppage time.

It was the first time an away side had ever sealed a last-minute European winner against Barcelona.

“I think we deserved the win. We played our game, better than them,” said Ramos after the match. “We want to win everything again. Last season isn’t enough, we want more.”

The result leaves PSG top of the group with six points from two games, while Barcelona remain on three.
