To improve healthcare delivery in both rural and urban areas of Malam Madori Local Government Area, the Council Chairman, Hon. Salisu Sani Garungabas, on Monday commissioned a renovated health post in Maidaru village.
Speaking at the event, Garungabas said the project was aimed at reducing the risks associated with transporting patients from distant locations, especially pregnant women in need of urgent medical attention.
He further urged residents to make full use of the facility, stressing that it was part of his administration’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
The Primary Health Care Coordinator of the area, Rabiu Musa Babura, noted that the renovation and re-equipping of the facility with qualified personnel, a drug revolving fund, hospital beds, and other essential materials would significantly improve the wellbeing of the community.
He encouraged residents to take advantage of the health post for antenatal care and other vital services.
In his vote of thanks, the community’s Islamic cleric, Malam Isyaku Adamu, commended the council chairman for fulfilling his campaign promise.
He prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection for the chairman and for continued developmental progress in the area.
Earlier, the ceremonial ribbon was cut by party elder statesman, Dan Azumi Manajin Tuwo, alongside other party executives.
