The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has extended warm congratulations to Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the party.

This was conveyed in a statement on Monday signed by the Jigawa State APC Chairman, Hon. Aminu Sani Gumel.

The party described Prof. Yilwatda’s emergence as well-deserved and rooted in merit, citing his exceptional leadership qualities and track record of service. The statement expressed confidence in his ability to lead the APC to greater heights with vision, integrity, and strategic insight.

The Jigawa APC urged the new chairman to harness his vast experience to revitalize the party, strengthen internal unity, and uphold the ideals of democracy, peace, and progress across the country.

“Today, the APC represents the aspirations of millions of Nigerians. Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the promise of prosperity and national stability is being renewed. Strengthening our party remains essential to Nigeria’s future,” the statement read.

It further noted that Jigawa State, under the leadership of Governor Malam Umar Namadi and his transformative 12-point agenda, has recorded notable achievements that have significantly improved governance and the socio-economic well-being of citizens over the past two years.

The APC in Jigawa reaffirmed its unwavering support for Prof. Yilwatda and pledged to work closely with him in driving the party’s mission as preparations begin for the 2027 general elections.

The statement concluded by urging all party members and Nigerians to rally behind President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aligns with the APC’s foundational values of development, unity, and national progress.
