Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has urged the newly elected national leaders of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to remain committed, hardworking, and inclusive in order to strengthen the party and achieve its objectives.
The governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in a statement on Saturday, said Governor Yusuf made the call while addressing delegates at the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected national executives of the NNPP, held in Abuja.
The Governor reaffirmed the party’s commitment to good governance, the welfare of citizens, and the protection of democratic principles across Nigeria.
He also called on party members at all levels to embrace unity, loyalty, and dedication as essential tools for achieving the collective aspirations of Nigerians.
In his remarks, the National Leader of the NNPP, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, charged the re-elected national executives to redouble their efforts in steering the party toward greater electoral success than previously recorded.
The convention attracted party leaders and delegates from the 36 states of the federation, underscoring the significance of the gathering to the political direction and future of the NNPP.
