Sokoto state Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has approved the appointment of Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Sanyinna as Chairman Sokoto State Scholarship Board.
Until his appointment, Abubakar Sadiq Sanyinna was a Permanent member of the Board.
He was also a former member of the state executive council as commissioner for information and orientation between 2005 to 2007.
The Governor also approved the appointment of Dr. Abdullahi Ahmad Gada as Executive Director Hospital Service Management Board.
Dr. Gada was a former Chief Medical Director of Maryam Abacha Women and Children’s Hospital Sokoto between 2013 to 2015 and served as Chairman Gada Local Government Council between 2015 to 2018.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Muhammad Mainasara Ahmad, the appointments are with immediate effect.
